Internet sobriety test becoming popular

"The Social Media Sobriety Test" is a new online test that lets you set the hours you are most likely to go online drunk and between these hours your computer will give you a sobriety test that you must pass before posting on Facebook, Twitter and more.

Reports of lasers pointing at Seattle-bound planes continue

Police are investigating a report of a laser being pointed at an airplane bound for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, although the plane landed without incident.  This is the newest in a series of laser beam reports at planes bound for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

No bail for teens accused of beating someone to death

Four teens have been accused of beating someone to death at a Georgia house party that got out of control early Sunday.  The accused, two 19-year-olds and two 18-year-olds supposedly murdered another 18-year-old teenager.  No bail was posted for the accused.

Nutrition professor eats twinkies to lose wieght

For 10 weeks, Mark Haub, a nutrition professor at Kansas State University ate one twinkie every three hours instead of eating meals, and in two months he lost 27 pounds.  On this "convenience store diet," Haub wanted to show that it is calories, not what you eat, that count.  Haub would normally consume 2,600 calories a day, but on his diet he limited himself to 1,800.

Murderer of three in 2007 sentenced to death

Steven Hayes, 47, was convicted of murder and kidnapping last month and has been sentenced to death.  Hayes murdered a mother and her two daughters in a brutal home invasion, where the husband was the sole survivor.
